Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Emergency Vehicle Upfitter and become a vital part of transforming standard vehicles into specialized emergency response units. In this role, you will utilize your automotive expertise to install, modify, and maintain upfit equipment on various vehicles such as cars, SUVs, trucks, boats, motorcycles, and more. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will directly contribute to enhancing safety, functionality, and reliability for first responders. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge vehicle systems and make a meaningful impact in public safety. Responsibilities Install, modify, and upgrade emergency vehicle equipment including lighting, sirens, communication systems, controllers, speakers, partitions, prisoner seats, bumpers, in-car video systems, and canine cages using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately perform electrical and mechanical installations. Collaborate with team members to ensure all installations meet safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and customer requirements. Requirements/Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old While on-the-job training is provided, an automotive background is required. Basic and specialty tools such as battery impact, drills, screw drivers, sockets, trim tools, interior removal tools, exterior removal tools, crimpers, pin pusher, etc. Works effectively with others as well as independently Reliable transportation (Valid Driver's License Required) Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in, on, around, over and under vehicles
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
