Type:
full-time EarthBalance is seeking a dependable and experienced Fleet Technician to join our team. This position will primarily focus on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of small engine equipment used by our field crews. Experience working with ATVs, UTVs, trucks, trailers, and other fleet equipment is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engine equipment Diagnose mechanical problems and complete necessary repairs Maintain and service equipment such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, pumps, and other small engine tools Assist with maintenance and repairs of ATVs and UTVs Assist with basic maintenance and repairs of company trucks and trailers Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections Identify equipment issues before they result in breakdowns or unsafe conditions Maintain an organized and safe shop/work area Track repairs, maintenance, and equipment service needs Assist with other fleet and equipment-related duties as needed Qualifications Experience repairing and maintaining small engines and equipment required Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with ATVs, UTVs, trucks, trailers, or similar equipment preferred Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on operational needs Valid driver's license required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work as part of a team What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys figuring out how things work and keeping equipment running. The ideal candidate has strong small-engine experience and is comfortable working on a variety of equipment. Broader automotive, diesel, trailer, ATV/UTV, or fleet maintenance experience is a plus.
