$22.00-$25.00 per hour, based on commercial tire experience Full-Time | Fleet Maintenance Custom Ecology, Inc. (CEI), a solid waste transportation company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Truck Tire Technician to support our Class 8 truck and trailer fleet. We are specifically looking for someone with commercial truck tire experience. If your experience is limited primarily to passenger cars and light trucks, this position may not be the right fit. Our equipment operates in a demanding solid-waste environment where tire condition, inflation, wheel condition and proper installation directly affect safety, uptime and operating cost. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Commercial truck tire experience strongly preferred Experience with Class 8 tractors and trailers Knowledge of commercial tire mounting and demounting procedures Knowledge of proper wheel installation and torque procedures Ability to recognize irregular wear patterns Understanding of dual tire matching and spacing Ability to identify repairable versus non-repairable tire damage Ability to safely lift, move and handle commercial truck tires and wheel assemblies Experience with solid-waste, refuse, roll-off or severe-duty fleets is a plus Valid driver's license preferred

WE WANT SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS WHY THE TIRE FAILED

Changing the tire isn't enough. A CEI Tire Technician should be able to look at a failed or prematurely worn tire and determine whether we're dealing with: Inflation

• Alignment
• Suspension
• Wheel-End
• Brake
• Matching
• Driver/Operational Damage
• Road Hazard Finding the cause prevents us from replacing the same tire twice.

We're looking for technicians who diagnose the cause — not employees who just keep changing tires. If commercial truck tires are your trade and you take pride in doing the job correctly and safely, we want to talk with you.
