Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in daily operations within the shop, working on small equipment/trucks, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Assist in the organization and maintenance of the shop area, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness. Support the team with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and tracking supplies. Operate basic shop tools and equipment safely, including the use of an Ohmmeter for testing electrical components. Help with assembly tasks and product preparation as needed with other shop staff. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and maintain high-quality standards. MUST have reliable transportation. Having a small tool box is a plus Expected to work 40 hours a week unless an emergency repair is needed Skills Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter is highly desirable. Some mechanical interest and background Ability to learn quick Good listening skills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Basic problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new techniques or processes.
