Role Description The Mobile Technician at Mullinax Ford is a full-time, on-site role based in Apopka, FL. This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on customer vehicles, including routine services, diagnostics, and corrective actions, often at customer locations or designated service areas. The Mobile Technician will conduct preventive maintenance inspections, document findings, and communicate clearly with customers and team members about recommended services and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, following manufacturer and dealership guidelines, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The role may also involve providing basic training or guidance to customers on vehicle care and collaborating with service advisors and parts personnel to deliver efficient and reliable service. Qualifications Strong customer service skills, including clear communication and a professional, client-focused approach. Proficiency in maintenance & repair of vehicles, including routine services and complex mechanical work. Ability to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on automotive systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Experience with preventive maintenance practices to ensure vehicle reliability and safety. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely. Relevant technical training or certifications in automotive technology; ASE certifications are a plus. Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and use mobile tools and equipment safely. Physical capability to perform hands-on automotive work, including lifting, standing, and working in varying conditions. Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred but not required.
