Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dependable Transmission Technician R&R (Removal & Replacement) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing, reinstalling, and assisting with diagnosing and other general automotive repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers and help us maintain our top-tier reputtion and five-star customer service. Duties Perform removal and replacement of vehicle transmissions, including manual and automatic systems, with precision and attention to detail. Inspect related components and identify worn or damaged parts during transmission removal and installation. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop safety procedures. Experience Proven experience or extensive background in automotive repair with a focus on transmission systems. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine and drivetrain components. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a busy workshop environment. Must have own tools and prior experience removing and reinstalling transmissions.
