Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Auto Electric Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of a wide range of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, providing exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for automotive electrical systems and a desire to work on cutting-edge vehicle technology. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics. Repair and replace automotive wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, relays, and electronic modules. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately identify problem areas within vehicle electrical systems. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as battery testing, alternator repairs, starter replacements, and lighting system repairs. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision and safety in mind. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating documentation for all repairs performed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with various vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics using industry-standard tools and software. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Experience interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. Hands-on experience repairing ADAS components, vehicle transmission systems, powertrain assemblies, and suspension systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with technical proficiency in automotive electrical systems. Service technician experience in automotive repair shops or dealerships preferred. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
