Job Description

Job Overview Mercedes-Benz of Daytona is now seeking (2) motivated and skilled Automotive Technicians to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaves our service bay in optimal condition, delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Conduct wheel alignments and ADAS calibrations to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for precise repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools effectively. Complete auto estimating tasks to determine repair costs while maintaining transparency with customers. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while adhering to dealership procedures. Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each vehicle serviced. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and addressing customer questions professionally. Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds systems a plus. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background as a professional automotive technician. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models, especially Mercedes-Benz vehicles if applicable. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, diesel engines, powertrains, transmissions, and suspension systems. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics reading for efficient troubleshooting. Service technician experience involving auto estimating software is preferred. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and alignment techniques is highly desirable. Experience working with both gasoline and diesel engines along with welding skills is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$28.00 - $37.50 per hour
