Honda Certified Automotive Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/ standards Diagnose, inspect and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste) Other duties as assigned

Honda Certified Automotive Technician Qualifications:

Previous automotive technician experience required Honda Certified is a huge plus! Honda/Acura maintenance experience highly desired ASE certification preferred Ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment Strong communication and computer skills Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission Excellent team-player Ability to work in all weather conditions, including high humidity Professional in appearance and grooming No personal tools required to start High school diploma or equivalent

• All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment

Honda Certified Automotive Technician Schedule Requirements:

Must be available to work Monday

• Friday 7:30 am
• 5:30 pm and some Saturdays 8:30 am
• 5:00 pm

Off Sundays Honda Certified Automotive Technician Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, reach above head, sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee must be able to see color and at close and far distances and is required to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
