Lube Technician

Hampton Hyundai has an immediate opening for Lube Automotive Technician.

DOE This is a full-time position with a great local dealership. An Entry Level Automotive Technician in our dealership needs to be thorough, efficient, and friendly, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Some Saturday and early evening work will be required. We are looking for someone reliable and accurate with the ability to work well with others. Job responsibilities for an Entry Level Automotive Technician include but are not limited to: Perform basic maintenance and light repairs on customer vehicles Conduct multipoint inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed maintenance service and repairs Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations Uses and maintains dealership provided tools and equipment in proper operating condition Documents inspection findings and maintenance requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the service advisor Quality-checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested Dumping all trash and waste fluids from the shop is part of the daily duties of a lube tech. Job requirements for an Entry Level Automotive Technician include but are not limited to: Basic knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipment Strong customer service focus Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability Valid driver's license, with a record insurable by our insurance standards Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, lifting above shoulder level, repetitive hand/arm motion, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds High school diploma or equivalent required Need ability to recognize any other work the vehicle may need Ability to communicate well with

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
