The ideal candidate will assist with the disassembly, inspection, and teardown of aircraft engines and components while following safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically skilled, eager to learn, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform disassembly and teardown of aircraft engines and engine components Inspect parts and components for wear, damage, or defects Use mechanical hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively Clean, organize, and label engine parts during teardown processes Document findings and maintain accurate maintenance records Assist with troubleshooting and identifying mechanical issues Follow FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines Qualifications Experience engine teardown, or mechanical repair preferred Ability to use mechanical tools and shop equipment proficiently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to procedures and training Basic mechanical knowledge of turbine or piston engines preferred Ability to read and follow technical manuals and instructions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Skills Familiarity with aircraft engine components and systems Understanding of aviation safety practices and maintenance procedures Experience working in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, and work in shop environments for extended periods Comfortable working around machinery, tools, and aviation equipment Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for training and advancement Health, dental, and vision insurance (if applicable) Paid time off and overtime opportunities About MD Turbines Inc Founded in 2011 by Manuel De Jesus, MD Turbines began in a 4,000 sq. ft. leased space with just a few employees and a vision to deliver excellence in turbine engine disassembly and aircraft part logistics.
