We provide mobile service options and operate a state-of-the-art 6,500-square-foot facility, dedicated to keeping your fleet running smoothly and efficiently. EXPERT LEVEL
Heavy-Duty Truck Service Writer with
EXPERT LEVEL
Fullbay proficiency . This role requires someone who can accurately diagnose customer concerns, source the correct parts efficiently, and write clean, precise repair orders that keep the shop moving. Ideal candidate will have; Several years of experience as an owner/operator of a big rig. Several years of experience as a lead diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. Will have supervised the work of 10 or more employees. Will have experience in customer relationships and business development. Be detail oriented. If you understand heavy-duty systems, know how to translate a customer's description into an accurate diagnosis, and can locate parts quickly and correctly—this role is built for you. Responsibilities Answer phone calls and greet customers professionally Diagnose heavy-duty truck issues by listening to customer descriptions of symptoms and asking targeted clarifying questions Source parts accurately and efficiently (vendors, catalogs, cross-referencing) to support fast, correct repairs Write up repair orders and estimates in Fullbay (parts, supplies, and labor) Create clear, accurate service input cards with correct customer/vehicle details Coordinate payment method and obtain credit approval when required Communicate with technicians and management to support accurate, timely repairs Maintain a strong customer service focus while setting and managing expectations Qualifications (Must-Have)
EXPERT LEVEL
Fullbay experience is required Demonstrated, daily production-level proficiency—no training-level or beginner-level experience. Strong heavy-duty truck diagnostic knowledge — able to interpret customer-reported symptoms and identify likely causes Parts sourcing experience — comfortable researching, cross-referencing, and locating correct heavy-duty parts Heavy-duty truck systems knowledge (engine, brake, electrical, drivetrain, etc.) Excellent communication skills (customers + technicians + leadership) Strong computer/order entry skills ( basic Microsoft knowledge required ) High school diploma or GED Must pass a routine drug screen Good Florida driving record required Benefits Top wages Professional work environment Family-run culture (employees treated like family) Health insurance Join our team to leverage your expert knowledge in heavy-duty fleet services! $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
