Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare detailed auto estimates using auto estimating software, including services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, suspension work, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Communicate repair recommendations clearly and confidently to customers, emphasizing the value of recommended services and upselling appropriate maintenance or repair options Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining a high level of customer service throughout the process Document all vehicle information, repair orders, and customer interactions meticulously for seamless workflow and record keeping Promote automotive diagnostics expertise by explaining technical issues in understandable terms to customers Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures (including transmissions, oil changes, brake repair), and vehicle maintenance Experience working with service writing software (AllData Manage Online) and auto estimating tools is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell services confidently and ethically Familiarity with automotive systems such as suspensions, alignments, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repair Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Previous mechanic or service technician experience is advantageous for understanding technical details and communicating effectively with technicians This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
