Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and longevity of vehicles. Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks such as diesel engine repair and air brake system servicing. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully for mechanical repairs, welding, and component replacements. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle safety standards are met or exceeded. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with GM vehicles or similar brands. Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto body repair, and auto estimating is advantageous. Proficiency with schematics, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, suspension systems, and powertrain components. Ability to operate heavy equipment mechanics tools as well as basic hand tools safely and efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, tire service, shocks & struts replacement. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service aptitude to ensure high-quality automotive service delivery.
