Experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician Rockstar Automotive Melbourne, FL Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $110,000 a year 11 hours ago Qualifications ASE Certification Electrical maintenance Automotive engine system repair Automotive braking system repair Mechanical systems repair Full Job Description Rockstar Automotive is looking for an experienced A-level automotive technician with strong diagnostic skills to join our team. We are a busy independent repair shop with plenty of work available. We're looking for a technician who can do more than replace parts — we need someone who is comfortable diagnosing difficult problems, working independently, and repairing vehicles correctly the first time. What We're Looking For The ideal technician will be experienced with: Advanced automotive diagnostics Electrical diagnosis and electrical faults Check-engine light diagnosis Drivability concerns Starting and charging systems Cooling systems Steering and suspension Brake systems A/C diagnosis and repair Engine and mechanical repairs General automotive maintenance and repair Using scan tools, scopes, meters, wiring diagrams, and service information Developing a diagnostic plan instead of simply replacing suspected parts Strong diagnostic ability is important for this position. Compensation $80,000-$110,000+ annual earning potential Compensation will be based on experience, diagnostic ability, productivity, and overall skill level. There is plenty of work available for a productive technician. ASE certifications are a plus, but demonstrated ability and real-world diagnostic experience are more important to us than certificates alone. This is not an entry-level position.
