Job Description
Used Car Reconditioning / Infiniti Service Technician Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience, strong diagnostic and repair skills, and preferably hold multiple ASE Certifications (Master Technician certification is highly preferred). This is a versatile role requiring a technician who can seamlessly transition between used vehicle reconditioning and Infiniti customer repair work based on weekly business needs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, stays productive throughout the day, and is committed to delivering high-quality repairs the first time. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections of used vehicles to identify mechanical, safety, and cosmetic repair needs. Complete all phases of used vehicle reconditioning to dealership quality standards. Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brake systems, HVAC, and electrical systems. Perform diagnostic testing using factory and aftermarket scan tools. Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire services, fluid exchanges, alignments, and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair Infiniti vehicles as needed, assisting the service department based on workload. Perform ADAS diagnostics, calibrations, and related repairs when applicable. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards. Maintain accurate repair documentation. Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality. Qualifications Previous dealership technician experience required. ASE Certifications strongly preferred; Master ASE Technician is a significant plus. Experience with Infiniti or Nissan vehicles is highly desirable. Strong diagnostic abilities with today's automotive electrical and computer-controlled systems. Ability to perform both used car reconditioning and customer-pay/warranty repairs. Proficient with factory and aftermarket diagnostic equipment. Experience with suspension, steering, drivability, engine performance, brakes, HVAC, and electrical repairs. Knowledge of ADAS systems and calibration procedures is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and adapt to changing shop demands. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive team-oriented attitude. What We're Looking For The right technician is someone who: Takes ownership of every repair.
