Friday-Monday, 6:00 AM•6:00 PM About the Role We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Fleet Technician to support fleet maintenance and operations. In this hands-on role, you will perform a variety of tasks to ensure vehicles, equipment, and the shop environment remain safe, efficient, and ready for use. This position is ideal for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely move parts, vehicles, and equipment across the facility Assist fleet mechanics and technicians with maintenance tasks, including staging parts, retrieving tools, and supporting repairs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and properly disposing of waste and recyclables Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming parts, supplies, and materials Conduct basic vehicle and equipment checks (e.g., fluid levels, tire pressure, visual inspections) Support movement and positioning of vehicles, trailers, and equipment within the facility Maintain tools and shop equipment; report any damage or operational issues Assist with inventory tracking, stock counts, and parts organization Perform additional duties as required to support fleet and site operations Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate or obtain certification for forklifts Ability to obtain certification for scissor lifts and boom lifts Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, walking, bending) for extended periods Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to varied tasks Preferred Qualifications Current forklift certification Prior experience in a fleet, automotive, warehouse, or maintenance shop environment Familiarity with basic tools, equipment handling, and shop operations Working Conditions Work is performed in a shop, warehouse, and outdoor environment Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and fumes Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Frequent physical activity including lifting, standing, and equipment operation Compliance Requirements To comply with U.S. export control regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise eligible to obtain required authorizations under applicable laws.
