Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs such as engine work, welding, alignment adjustments, and component replacements. Service vehicles by performing routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering professional advice on vehicle maintenance. Experience Prior dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Hands-on experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including ADAS calibration and electronic troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using automotive schematics, diagnostic software, and power tools for efficient repairs. Mechanical knowledge across various systems such as powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle maintenance protocols. Demonstrated ability to handle auto estimating processes accurately while maintaining customer satisfaction. Welding skills or experience with automotive welding projects are a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience.
