In this vital role, you'll provide prompt, professional support to motorists in need, ensuring their safety and getting them back on the road quickly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine mechanical skills with customer service, working in diverse environments and facing new challenges every day. Your expertise will directly impact drivers' lives, making a real difference when they need it most. Technicians should have their own reliable transportation and all required tools. Responsibilities Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, assessing vehicle issues on-site and determining the best course of action. Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs such as tire changes, battery jumps, and minor mechanical fixes. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks when necessary. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all roadside operations to protect yourself and motorists. Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates on repair status and estimated time of assistance. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair or maintenance. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools. Experience performing vehicle maintenance tasks like tire replacements, battery services, or fluid checks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
