Service Support Specialist

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with experience working in dealership or independent repair shop environments. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing advanced diagnostics and mechanical expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and the use of hand and power tools, contributing to a dynamic and professional service team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks Repair or replace brake systems, suspension components, and other critical vehicle parts Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently Assemble and disassemble vehicle components with precision and attention to detail Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed for specialized repairs Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within scheduled timeframes Requirements Proven mechanic experience, preferably within a dealership or automotive repair shop setting Strong knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, suspension, electrical, and engine diagnostics Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and software is highly desirable Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred Dealership experience or service technician background is a plus Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers an engaging work environment where technical skills are valued and professional growth is encouraged.
