Chinchor Electric, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Line Technician for a full-service medium/heavy duty fleet truck and equipment maintenance shop.Job Type:
Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Pay:
$35+ Hourly, Based on Experience Duties and Responsibilities Chassis inspection, basic engine, transmission, brake, tire, suspension service with high level understanding of 12V DC electrical Emissions diagnosis and repair Document all services and repairs performed. Generate and complete work orders and with detail- oriented documentation daily. Willingness to gain knowledge and experience through provided training, safe work practices and habits. Must be able to make independent decisions. Perform any other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, and Certifications 5+ years of mechanic experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Required Proficient with Ford
FDRS, IDS
diagnostics- Required Welding experience
- Preferred CDL A Driver's License
- Preferred Personally maintained tools up to 1/2" drive Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency in navigating computer operating systems and standard business software High level of integrity, able to work independently and with others
