Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical vehicle systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Execute vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features to ensure modern safety systems function correctly. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets industry standards. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment procedures, and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic equipment for automotive diagnostics. Mechanical aptitude complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other repair tools. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to handle complex repairs efficiently.
