Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems. Your hands-on skills will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, suspension components, and electrical wiring. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake repairs to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle components with precision. Diagnose complex mechanical problems using automotive diagnostics equipment while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership or service center experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, and transmission repairs. Familiarity with automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as scan tools or oscilloscopes. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair is a plus. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical manuals and perform repairs on GM vehicles or similar brands. Service technician experience with auto estimating software is advantageous. Prior experience in vehicle maintenance, alignment procedures, and vehicle systems troubleshooting is highly desirable.
