Busy shop! Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled A Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. This is a flat rate position. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and reliably, providing them with confidence on the road. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Whether you're experienced in dealership environments or passionate about automotive repair, your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will make a significant impact. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and suspension. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Conduct vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and wheel alignments to ensure optimal performance Use hand tools, power tools,, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs safely and effectively. Document all work performed clearly in service records and communicate findings effectively to customers or team members. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive technician or service technician in a dealership or independent shop environment. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics software. Hands-on experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Certification in automotive repair (such as ASE certification) is a plus; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry advancements.
