Position Summary We're seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, troubleshoot, maintain, and service commercial HVAC equipment throughout the Tampa Bay area. This position primarily focuses on commercial service and preventative maintenance but may occasionally assist with residential service calls when business needs require. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, communicates professionally with property managers, facility managers, business owners, and general contractors, and takes ownership of every service call from arrival through completion. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment Service rooftop units (RTUs), package units, split systems, heat pumps, commercial air handlers, and exhaust systems Diagnose and troubleshoot Mitsubishi VRF/VRV systems Perform electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration diagnostics Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals Educate customers on system condition, repair recommendations, and preventative maintenance opportunities Complete digital work orders and service documentation using Jobber Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos and service notes and requesting google reviews Communicate proactively with dispatch, management, and customers throughout the day Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow company safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements Participate in the company's rotating on-call schedule Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain shortly after hire) Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record Rooftop Units (RTUs) Mitsubishi
