Job Description

Our client company, headquartered in Texas, is a one stop distributor of pavement marking, road, and airport safety products. Their available product line includes a full array of road safety and pavement marking products. In addition, they also offer the custom fabrication (adapted to client specifications) and sales of truck mounted attenuators (TMA) and trailers, utilizing the TrafFix Scorpion product line. These devices provide critical collision impact control for the protection of workers, motorists and equipment during road construction projects. The company's management staff has over 100 years of successful industry experience, and they are the preferred supplier for many projects in the southern and southeastern region of the country, though they also serve the business needs of companies nationwide. Inn addition to selling the finest products and supplies anywhere in the industry, it is the company's commitment to service and their "customer first" culture that sets them apart from everyone else. They were founded and continue to operate on the premise of providing unparalleled value and quality workmanship to their valued customers. The company has an immediate need for a number of Automotive Electrical Installers. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Installation of vehicle electrical and electronic systems and circuits
  • Installation of vehicle components.
  • Recondition and replace parts.
  • Troubleshoot operation problems and determine plan of action to remedy problems.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, as required.
  • Other tasks assigned by shop manager. Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • ASE Certifications are preferred
  • 3-5 years in the automotive or truck repair business preferred.
  • Knowledge of repair principles, tools, and procedures in all areas of the Vehicle Repair Industry preferred.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Must be dependable
  • Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must assume responsibility for high quality of workmanship.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Should have excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak proficient English (Spanish a plus)
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Must have a clean driving record.

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
