We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as a Municipal Vehicle & Emergency Technicians (EVT) / Installers. As a Vehicle Installer, you'll work on a wide range of emergency response and municipal vehicles, including police, fire, utilities, and public works vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, troubleshoot, and remove 12V equipment in emergency and municipal fleet vehicles: Light bars, flashers, and sirens Radios, antennas, speakers, and communication systems Vehicle consoles, cages, partitions, and storage systems Laptops, printers, routers, and camera systems Work on a variety of vehicles including: Law enforcement, fire, EMS Public works, utilities, and county/city service fleets Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics Perform vehicle diagnostics and electrical testing Ensure all installations meet high safety and quality standards Occasionally work on-site at mobile or outdoor locations
Qualifications:
6 Months Automotive Wiring or Electrical Experience Required. Strong understanding of automotive or marine 12V systems Ability to identify and diagnose electrical circuits Experience installing emergency or fleet vehicle equipment is a plus EVT (Emergency Vehicle Technician) Certification is a plus, not required Good vision (including color) and manual dexterity for small components Able to work independently and as part of a team Clear communication skills and a positive, professional attitude Must be dependable and punctual.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Occasional weekend work for large projects
