Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining vehicle performance and ensuring customer satisfaction. In this energetic position, you'll perform essential lubrication services, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs with precision and care. Responsibilities Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, and basic fluid replacements efficiently and accurately. Perform vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and minor mechanical issues. Assist with light mechanical repairs to ensure optimal vehicle safety and performance. Use hand tools and power tools safely to complete maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed records of all services performed and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors. Support the dealership's maintenance schedule by performing routine vehicle upkeep and minor repairs as needed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering basic vehicle questions. Requirements Previous dealership experience or mechanic experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of standard passenger car operation, automotive diagnostics, and mechanical repair techniques. Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and alignment procedures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge combined with a strong work ethic; capable of heavy lifting and performing maintenance tasks efficiently. Basic understanding of automotive repair procedures; willingness to learn and grow within the role.
