Job Description

Service Manager - Heavy-Duty Truck Our Service Managers oversee the department to include developing solid teamwork, providing continuing education for staff, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, setting, and obtaining objectives and maintaining accurate service records. Additionally, they must satisfy the service concerns of all customers, ensure that service is performed at the highest level and operate profitably. •Located in South East Florida. Job Role & Responsibilities Hiring and supervising of all service department personnel, as well as monitoring their performance with customer interactions. Manage daily operations for shop and mobile repair services. Supervise technicians, service advisors, and operational staff. Improve communication between advisors, technicians, customers, and corporate management. Monitor technician productivity, job status, comeback repairs, delays, and customer complaints. Support growth by building a stronger, more organized operation. Make sure jobs are assigned, followed up, completed, billed, and closed properly Providing training of administrative policies and procedures for all department personnel. Hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, quality, safety, and company procedures. Report daily to ownership with priorities, problems, numbers, and action items. Track open jobs, pending parts, estimates, approvals, invoices, and customer follow-ups. Keeping up to date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures while serving as a liaison with the factory representatives. Service Management requires strong communication skills with customers, employees, and vendors.
Required Qualifications:
Heavy-duty truck repair industry experience. Experience managing operations in truck repair, automotive, fleet maintenance industry. Excellent communication skills with customers and staff. Able to handle pressure, urgent situations, and multiple jobs at once. Organized, reliable, and accountable. Must be able to enforce rules and hold people accountable respectfully but firmly.
