Job Description
Shoreline Foundation, Inc. is a leading marine construction, heavy highway, and deep foundation contractor seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for a motivated mechanic who takes pride in maintaining and repairing construction equipment to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections. Repair hydraulic, electrical, fuel, cooling, and diesel engine systems. Maintain cranes, excavators, loaders, skid steers, generators, pumps, and marine construction equipment. Complete service reports and maintenance records. Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and at the yard. Ensure equipment remains in safe operating condition. Qualifications 5+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience required. 5+ years of experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair construction equipment independently. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Experience with marine construction equipment, cranes, barges, pile driving equipment, or dredging equipment is highly preferred. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus.
