Position Summary The Quick Lane Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services efficiently and accurately while delivering a positive customer experience. This role focuses on basic automotive services, safety inspections, and supporting the service department's quick-service operations in a fast-paced environment. Quick Lane Technicians play a key role in supporting customer retention, service department throughput, and overall guest experience. Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings accurately. Identify basic vehicle maintenance needs and communicate recommendations to service advisors. Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership service procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Use shop equipment and tools properly and safely. Complete repair orders and inspection documentation accurately. Support overall shop workflow and assist team members as needed. Participate in training to develop technical skills and support advancement opportunities.
Requirements:
Qualifications Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures. Willingness to learn and follow dealership and manufacturer guidelines. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Work may involve indoor/outdoor shop conditions with varying temperatures. Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to approximately 50 pounds with or without assistance. Exposure to shop noise, moving vehicles, automotive fluids, and equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Able to successfully pass a background screening and drug test, as applicable. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous lube, quick service, or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
