Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with vehicle electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and other key components Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engine performance, suspension, steering, brakes, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal operation Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs involving welding, vehicle transmission system repair, and mechanical adjustments Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems accurately Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), ensuring proper calibration and functionality Maintain detailed service records and perform auto estimating to ensure transparency and efficiency in service delivery Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair setting Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems with a focus on GM vehicles preferred Hands-on experience with vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle suspension system repair Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation, powertrain components, and vehicle systems troubleshooting Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and the use of automotive electrical systems testing equipment Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with maintenance tasks such as wheel alignment and vehicle transmission repairs Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software Join us if you're passionate about automotive repair excellence!
