Automotive Service Technician (A or B Level) -
Heavy & Light Line Location:
Carrollton, GA (Greater Atlanta Area)

Day Shift Position Overview A premier, high-volume dealership in Carrollton, GA is seeking a skilled A or B Level Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. We are looking for a professional capable of handling both heavy and light line repairs. Because we maintain a high volume of factory-backed service requests, previous GM dealership experience is strictly required to efficiently execute warranty work.

State-of-the-Art Facility:
Modern, well-equipped shop utilizing the latest diagnostic technology. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide variety of GM cars, trucks, and SUVs. Perform heavy line work (e.g., engine diagnostics, replacements, major component teardowns) and light line work (e.g., brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems). Execute repairs strictly according to factory specifications and compliance rules for GM warranty work . Utilize specialized OEM diagnostic software and shop tools efficiently. Provide clear, accurate write-ups detailing findings and recommended repair paths for service advisors. Maintain a safe, clean, and productive workspace.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of professional automotive technician experience in a dealership environment.
Brand Expertise:
Proven hands-on experience working with General Motors (GM) vehicles.
Warranty Knowledge:
Familiarity with GM warranty repair procedures, documentation, and labor time guides.
Classification:
Proven capability operating at an A or B technical level.
Tools:
Must possess a complete set of personal tools appropriate for this experience level.
Credentials:
Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
Certifications:
Active ASE certifications are not required if equivalent GM experience is demonstrated. GM experience is preferred.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
