Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working primarily with junk cars, breaking them down, and pulling parts from junkyards as needed. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical skills and a strong work ethic, with the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Break down junk cars to facilitate recycling or parts removal Pull and extract usable auto parts from junkyard vehicles Assist in dismantling vehicles safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety protocols at all times during vehicle handling and dismantling processes Collaborate with team members to complete tasks accurately and promptly Requirements Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with vehicles or auto parts Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods Willingness to work in outdoor environments and in various weather conditions Good attention to detail when dismantling vehicles and pulling parts Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively Prior experience in auto recycling, junkyard work, or similar roles is a plus but not mandatory This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in automotive work, especially those looking to gain hands-on experience in vehicle dismantling and auto parts extraction.
Pay:
$10.00 - $15.00 per hour
