Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our production lines running smoothly, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems, with a passion for problem-solving and technical excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Repair or replace faulty parts on industrial machinery, including welding and precision-measuring instruments. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on systems such as HVAC/R units, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical circuits. Assist with equipment troubleshooting involving hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical troubleshooting to identify root causes efficiently. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing schematics and technical manuals to develop effective solutions for equipment issues. Operate scissor lifts or other access equipment safely to perform maintenance at elevated heights. Collaborate with team members on technical sales support by providing expert advice on equipment repairs or upgrades when needed. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding ( welding), electrical maintenance, and industrial mechanics. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across various systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R, and electrical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting manuals. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately. Knowledge of welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory; certification is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in industrial mechanics or maintenance roles. Ability to diagnose issues using analysis skills and technical expertise efficiently. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors for repairs or technical support.
