Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Diagnostic, automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in powertrain systems, engine repair, and automotive electrical systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure vehicles are operating at optimal performance. Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repairs on various makes and models. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to powertrain systems, including engines and transmissions. Conduct diesel engine repairs with precision and expertise. Work with automotive electrical systems to identify faults and implement effective solutions. Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate repair quotes to customers. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Operate power tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding vehicle status and necessary repairs. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, engine repair, and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with auto estimating software is preferred. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Proficient in the use of power tools and diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.
