Job Description
Mark C. Pope Associates, Inc. was founded in 1950 and is headquartered in Smyrna, GA. The company is comprised of four independent business units that distribute industrial products. The cleaning equipment division sells and supports industrial floor sweepers and scrubbers within the southeast United States. Mark C. Pope is currently one of largest distributor of industrial equipment for Nilfisk-Advance and Powerboss in the United States and has grown significantly over the past decade. Due to this growth, we have an immediate need for a mechanic in the Dalton, GA market. Provide service work for our new and used equipment fleet as well as on-site repairs of customer owned equipment (Company vehicle provided). Troubleshooting equipment service issues. Equipment Cleaning/Preparation Be a team player and work well with others in the department. Work with department leads to service and maintain Industrial / Commercial Floor Equipment. Customer machines, rental fleet and demo equipment. Work in the company software to keep work orders up to date. Providing great customer service and detailed description of work completed. Applicants for this position must have the following: GED or High School Diploma Driver's License Good driving record Mechanical experience and/or educational training. Ability to read and understand parts diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematics. Great customer service skills. This position would carry full-time status and require a minimum work week of 40 hours with the potential for overtime.
