Job Description
Description Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have previous Nissan experience and a strong understanding of Nissan vehicles, systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. We are looking for a dependable, motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Nissan and other vehicles Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using appropriate diagnostic equipment Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and engine repairs Perform oil changes, tire services, fluid services, and other preventative maintenance Complete manufacturer-recommended services and repairs according to specifications Accurately document all work performed and parts used on repair orders Follow Nissan repair procedures, technical bulletins, and safety guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommended repairs Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality Perform road tests and quality-control inspections as needed Stay current on automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and manufacturer training Requirements Previous professional automotive technician experience required Nissan dealership or Nissan-specific experience strongly preferred Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Ability to accurately diagnose and repair automotive systems Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Own basic hand tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality ASE certifications and/or Nissan certifications preferred
