Conduct repairs and maintenance on BMW vehicles, including engine repairs (gasoline and diesel), transmission system repairs, vehicle suspension system repairs, and wheel alignments. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Utilize hand tools and power tools proficiently for repairs, replacements, welding, and mechanical adjustments. Service vehicle systems such as brakes, steering, cooling, and electrical components while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Maintain detailed repair records and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality assurance protocols while providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Experience Proven dealership experience as a service technician or mechanic specializing in BMW or similar luxury vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including engine repair (gasoline/diesel), powertrain servicing, transmission repair, vehicle suspension system repair, and wheel alignment. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagrams, ADAS calibration processes, and the use of automotive diagnostic tools. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Service technician experience with GM vehicles or other brands is a plus but not required.
