Lube Technician Heavy Equipment & Fleet Maintenance

Position Overview:

Wilson Construction Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lube Technician to support our fleet operations. This role is critical to maintaining the performance and longevity of our heavy equipment and trucks through consistent preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of uptime, and brings a strong mechanical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment and on-road trucks (oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, greasing, etc.) Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, and potential mechanical issues Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs Assist mechanics with minor repairs and service tasks Identify and report mechanical concerns early to prevent downtime Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards Keep service truck and work areas clean and organized Coordinate with shop manager and field supervisors on maintenance schedules

Qualifications:

Experience working with heavy equipment, diesel trucks, or similar machinery preferred Basic mechanical knowledge required; strong mechanical skills are a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions Strong attention to detail and reliability Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor Preferred (Not Required): Previous lube technician or preventative maintenance experience Strong mechanical skills and ability to assist with minor repairs and troubleshooting Familiarity with construction equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders, haul trucks, etc.) Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and diesel engines

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
