Truck Technician 3 Commercial Truck and Van - 1.0 Norcross, GA Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications High school diploma or GED Van handling Full Job Description Success as a Truck Shop Technicians is being able to achieve the following expectations: Truck Shop Technician 1 Pickup bed removal on all OEM. Prep chassis for service bodies / platform bodies installations on all OEM. Basic welding (MIG), plasma operations. Overhead hoist operations. Standard Service Bodies installations Hitch / accessories installations. Basic electrical installations (hitch wiring, chassis lights). Truck Shop Technician 2 Ability to demonstrate proficiency in a Level 1 role Service Body / Pickup truck liftgates installations. Standard service bodies and platform bodies installations. Toolboxes, ladder racks and all types of accessories installations. Advanced welding (MIG), plasma operations. Basic hoist / dump bodies installations. Advanced electrical installations (strobes lights, inverters, GPS). Truck Shop Technician 3 Ability to demonstrate proficiency in a Level 2 role Platform bodies / Box truck liftgate and rail gate installations. Advanced Hydraulics / PTO installations. Advanced skills for complex installations Diagnosing, servicing and repairing truck equipment across all OEMs. Support other technicians in resolutions of issues. Basic fabrication and cutting skills. The key behaviors/skills required for this role are: Learn and understand truck shop material and part numbers Organized Attention to detail Great communication skills within the company Team orientated Education required for this role: High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be eligible to drive company vehicles under Commercial Truck and Van's Fleet Safety Program requirements.
