Responsibilities:
Diagnose automotive problems and perform maintenance and repairs on Ford vehicles and other makes/models. Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical issues using professional diagnostic equipment. Perform engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, and other major repairs. Accurately document all diagnostic findings, repairs, parts, and labor. Follow manufacturer specifications, dealership procedures, and safety standards. Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure repairs are completed correctly. Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians regarding vehicle condition and repair needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Stay current with evolving automotive technology, repair procedures, and training. Deliver high-quality work while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Previous professional automotive technician experience required. Solid knowledge of modern automotive systems and repair procedures. Able to accurately diagnose automotive problems and complete repairs efficiently. Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and shop equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Able to work independently and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Dependable, professional, and motivated work ethic.
