The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of European vehicle makes (e.g., BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, etc.) and a proven track record of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex automotive systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Perform diagnostic tests using advanced tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues. Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspensions, and other components specific to European vehicles. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic codes to ensure accurate repairs. Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate repair estimates and timelines. Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and adheres to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep tools in excellent condition. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and manufacturer training programs. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on European vehicles. ASE Certification or equivalent (e.g., IMI certification in Europe) preferred. Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, software, and systems specific to European brands. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Preferred Skills Manufacturer-specific training or certifications (e.g., BMW STEP, Mercedes-Benz WIS). Experience with hybrid or electric European vehicles. Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g., ODIS, ISTA/D). Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
