Job Description

Job Overview Full-Time Diesel/Gas Mechanic Middle Georgia Fleet Services is seeking a dependable, experienced Diesel/Gas Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles and equipment, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, fuel, brake, and cooling systems. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and drivetrain components. Perform DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards. Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications:

Experience working on diesel and gasoline vehicles is required. Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. Own basic mechanic tools (preferred). Valid driver's license required Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
