Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Working on passenger cars , your mechanical skills will keep vehicles performing at their best and customers happy. We are committed to providing a paid position that recognizes your talent and passion for automotive repair. Some basic experience required, pay will be based on level of experience and ability. Having your own tools is helpful but not necessary we can provide tools if needed. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs effectively. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems. Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle performance meets quality standards. Keeping the shop at tip top shape, cleanliness is key! Skills Experience in automotive repair and maintenance, But not necessary willing to train the right person Skilled in engine repair, transmissions, powertrain work, and suspension system repairs including shocks & struts. Ability to read schematics accurately for diagnosing issues across various mechanical systems, or willing to learn. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software. Knowledge of scan tools, usage of all-data and computer programs a plus. $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
