Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify mechanical equipment and production machinery Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Diagnose mechanical failures and minimize equipment downtime Inspect, repair, and replace bearings, chains, gears, belts, conveyors, pumps, and other mechanical components Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges with tolerances up to .0010 Perform equipment inspections and document maintenance activities Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: High school diploma, GED, or vocational/technical education 2+ years of Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanical Technician, or Industrial Maintenance experience desired Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices Ability to read measuring instruments and work with close tolerances Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety and quality Manufacturing, food production, packaging, automotive, steel, paper, plastics, chemical processing, or similar industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred.
