Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse automotive systems, including powertrains, electrical components, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), in a fast-paced environment committed to quality service and customer satisfaction. A salary position consisting of a rotating 4 and 4.5 day work weeks Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs on various systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, and ADAS components. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Repair or replace vehicle parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive equipment. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Diagnose and repair diesel engines and powertrain components with precision. Perform wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity. Work on GM vehicles or similar models with a focus on quality repairs and customer safety. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using auto estimating software for accurate documentation. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies including ADAS upgrades and electrical system advancements. Qualifications Prior experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting. Strong mechanical knowledge Experience with automotive diagnostics tools Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, ADAS technology, wheel alignments Excellent customer service skills . Experience and/or educational training a plus.
