Job Description:

As a Mechanic at PK Excavating & Dirt Work, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our machinery and trucks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on heavy equipment and trucks, and must thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will ensure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and efficiency. Assist in identifying parts and equipment needed for repairs.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Mechanic, preferably with heavy machinery and trucks. Strong mechanical and technical skills. Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
