Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with expertise in powertrain systems and automotive electrical systems. This role requires proficiency with both hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including domestic and foreign vehicles. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring and components. Conduct powertrain repairs, including transmission services and engine work. Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate repair estimates for customers. Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive systems. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment. Experience working with foreign vehicles is a plus. Ability to transmit technical information clearly to customers and team members. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
