Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Fleet Technician & Detailer to perform light maintenance, vehicle inspections, minor repairs, and keep our fleet clean and presentable. This role supports safe, dependable vehicles and ensures a professional appearance for our team. Key Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle inspections (pre- and post-trip checks, fluid levels, tires, lights, brakes). Complete light mechanical tasks and minor repairs (brake pads, bulbs, hoses, tire pressure, battery changes, basic troubleshooting). Follow maintenance schedules and report larger repair needs to management or outside shops.
Clean and detail vehicles:
exterior washing, vacuuming, interior wipe-downs, window cleaning, trash removal. Maintain basic tools, supplies, and cleaning equipment; ensure work areas are tidy. Complete and file inspection/checklist reports and maintenance logs. Assist with vehicle staging, fueling, and basic inventory of parts and consumables. Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with company policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with basic vehicle maintenance, inspections, or detailing preferred. Comfortable using hand tools and basic diagnostic tools. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks outdoors in varying weather. Attention to detail, dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Basic written and verbal communication skills for reporting and recordkeeping. Preferred (but not required) Automotive technician certificate or related training. Experience with light-duty fleet vehicles, vans, or trucks. Familiarity with shop safety and environmental regulations.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
